A 6 editie Interior Motives Design Award s-a tinut la Clubul Med World din Paris in timpul celei de-a doua zi de presa de la Paris Motor Show.

Juriul, care a fost compus din designeri de profesionişti cu un rang inalt, cum ar fi Flavio MANZONI de la VW si Faurecia Andreas Wlasak,acestia  au selectat castigatorii din 11 categorii diferite.

Tema concursului in acest an a fost “Design for Life”

Studentilor participanti li s-a cerut sa studieze si sa analizeze modele care ar duce la imbunatatirea impresiei despre calatorie abordand un model simplu si accesibil dar in acelasi timp in pas cu ultimele tehnologii.

Castigatorul concursului a fost Pierre Sabas cu Free Form Concept.Acesta a primit un premiu de 5.000$ si o bursa la VW Group si  VW’s Future Design trendlab din Wolfsuburg.

• Best Eco Design Concept: Leaf Touch by Xiaosong Qian (Beijing Institute of Technology)

• Best Lifestyle Interior: T6 Concept by Alexander Zhukovski (Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts)

• Best Production Interior: My Lounge by Ilaria Sacco (Royal College of Art - UK)

• Best Personalisation: Wigloo by Ralph Tayler-Webb, Kyu-Han Choi and Carl Saunders (Royal College of Art - UK)

• Best Safety Interior: Free Form Concept by Pierre Sabas (Royal College of Art - UK)

• Best Use of Ambient Lighting: Soul Concept by Dalim Seo (Pforzheim University - Germany)

• Best Use of Technology: Helios Concept by Kim Gu-Han (Universität Duisburg-Essen - Germany)

• Best Xperience: i-Shoes Concept by Yang Liu (Northumbria University, UK)
